What is it?

Welcome to Everyday Mindfulness. In this course you will be learning about and practicing mindfulness. You will learn:

  • what mindfulness is
  • the benefits of mindfulness
  • fundamental mindfulness skills

This course is meant to be completed in 14 consecutive days. Each day you will read about mindfulness, and you will practice meditation in brief, 3 to 10 minute sessions. Mindfulness is a little bit like brushing your teeth – it’s something that’s meant to be done every day. Practicing mindfulness is also like practicing a musical instrument – the more you do it, the better you get. If you practice regularly, you’ll be more likely to experience some of the amazing benefits of mindfulness that you’ll learn about next.

Who should attend this self help module?

This self help module – and mindfulness in general – helps adults to acquire the knowledge and skills to deal better with their stressful daily life.

The module has been designed for people who want to advance their personal lives and careers. It has been especially beneficial for people:

  • Experiencing above average stress levels in work or private life;

  • Looking for ways to deal with common issues.

    7. How to deal with restlessness – Working with restlessness
    8. How to deal with sleepiness; mindfulness of the body – Mindfulness of the body
    9. Resolving blocks – Mindfulness combination practice
    10. Mindfulness of feelings – Mindfulness of feelings
    11. Dealing with common issues – Mindfulness combination practice
    12. Mindfulness of thoughts – Mindfulness of thoughts
    13. Course review – Mindfulness combination practice
    14. Starting a regular meditation practice; everyday “spontaneous” mindfulness – Everyday mindfulness

How can I enroll?

Access to our self help modules is subscription based. You can choose between 1, 3 and 6 month subscriptions. Most people choose a three month subscription. While the mindfulness module takes just 14 consecutive days to complete, the three month subscription gives you some time to practice and repeat those parts of the course you find particularly interesting and/or challenging. This will also give you full access to our guided meditation audio recordings. Repeating these daily for three months is something we really encourage, as the more time you take to practice in “real life” the skills you acquire in these modules, the better!
