Mathew teaches Digital Marketing and Sales Management in the Department of Marketing, Otago Business School, the University of Otago in New Zealand. He is interested in studying social issues. In particular, his focus for many years has been on drinking during pregnancy. Of late, his attention has turned to Social Investment, aimed at translating scientific evidence to solutions for improving the well-being of citizens. He has successfully experimented using Facebook and Twitter to understand the social needs of people. He is now working on ways to feedback evidence-based solutions with a life-course perspective.
