Cyberbullying is associated with many issues such as depression, low self-esteem, poor academic performance, and suicide and affect almost half of teens. Research has demonstrated that awareness and a systematic, multidisciplinary approach is needed to reduce the issue.
Research conducted by Prof. Martin Dorahy at the University of Canterbury and his colleagues explores therapy choices made for patients suffering from trauma, specifically considering exposure therapy and phase-oriented therapy for dissociative and posttraumatic disorders.
